Laura Camelli, alias Came,  is a member of the bolognese Ernest group, one of the most varied and  active situations of Italian selfpublished comics.
                Her personality, very  attentive to reality and to the situations that surrounds her,  brought her to realizze the travel diary  "Diaboli e dimòni da  viaggio" published in  Ernest, 1, that collects postcard  illustrations created after a stay in Shanghai.
                Before getting involved  with the the no-drawing-on-the-cover Ernest do-it yourself  productions, Laura published illustrations and comics for the free  press and Italian and foreign DIY productions “Tribù”, “Il  peso del martello”, “Deliropolis”, “Supertranquillo”.
                More recent are her  publications for Becco Giallo Editore in collaboration with the   Sherwood Comix Festival, which chose her to be part of two  anthologies on Italian independent comics: Resistenze, Cronache di  ribellione quotidiana in 2007 and Zerotolleranza, l'antologia del  fumetto indipendente italiano in 2008. 
                In occasion of Bilbolbul,  Betty&Books bookshop is going to hold a personal exhibition, meanwhile a limited  edition catalogue will be published by Ernest, with a selection of  black & white panels of the artist with colour interventions.
