If the eye guides the artist, it’s the hand that draws – sometimes tentatively, sometimes confidently, constantly changing route.

The sketchbook is a place where artists can collect their experiments, outlining the journey that takes them from scribbling notes to a full story or a painting. This year’s edition of the comics and illustration competition Arci FARBEN celebrates the sketchbook as the space of the unfinshed.  Original notebooks, selected by a jury, are displayed along with those of some of BilBOlbul’s guests: Davide Reviati, Silvia Rocchi, Kalina Muhova and Roberto Paci Dalò.
