Twenty subjects, four cities, a small sketchbook: people encountered on the streets of Perugia, Bologna, Rome and Zurich, imprinted in a space of ten to fourteen centimeters and which bring to life a story where the “other” is protagonist. “I am, you are” is an intimate, personal project, created by Lucia Biancalana in summer 2017 for the pure pleasure of painting, as a cure for insomnia and in an attempt to remain connected, as much as possible, to the diverse places she has lived.
