How does the illustration can interact with those parts of the book that always get a marginal attention? And how to pay to them a special attention and to structure it in the way that can create a new readings of the same story? Which paper stationery steps can be used to tell a story? The French illustrator Laurent Moreau, one of the most famous and talented illustrators of the moment, will discuss with the participants – through a series of exercises – on how the paper industry, the formats and the parts of the book is often considered to be functional (wings and inside cover, pages dedicated to additional information for the reader as that of copyright, etc.) can become an integral part of the story and a real narrative device, focal point in book reading.
