Flashfumetto (www.flashfumetto.it) is the website of the municipality of Bologna entirely dedicated to comic language and comic authors based in town and in the district.
Day by day the website publishes news, events, books presentations, reviews. A big section is dedicated to authors (pros, but even beginners) and their works.
For BilBolbul international comic Festival, Flashfumetto banned the 30 minuti in 2000 pixel nationwide contest.
The basic rules were that you had to send a file 2000x1000 pixel large, correspondent to a one-page comic, reporting any kind of event that could last exactly 30 minutes.
This exhibition, taking place in Sala Silentium, in the spaces of Quartiere San Vitale, is the chance to celebrate the website third year of activity, and to give visibility to young authors. A part from the works selected by the jury among all the ones sent for the contest, there are going to be exposed, in a special section, the works of some famous Italian comic authors, invited by the organization to partecipate to this storytelling experimentation.
