At the festival

Canicola brings together in Spazio& the work of two German artists who have also been featured in the new Canicola anthology, available for the first time during the festival and in exhibition in the main antological exhibit: Josephine Ritchel and Anne Vagt.
The visitor will be able to get deeper in their work after seeing, at the exhibition at the Museo della musica, their contribution to the magazine Canicola, and admire a four handed production project especially thought for the festival.
Joséphin Ritschel offers her hyper-detailed images that blend pop inspiration into visuals that evoke dreamlike atmospheres, some of which are quite ambiguous and disturbing; and Anne Vagt carries out thorough research into illustration, inspired by graphics for advertising and publishing and tempered with colors and lines knowingly naive.
