AT FESTIVAL
Characterized by a clean, expressive and ironic way of drawing, Émile Bravo is considered one the most relevant authors of kid-oriented comics in France. His stories are exciting and adventurous, marked by a cynic and biting approach always balanced with delicate and tender moments. Another element that never lacks in Bravo’s works is irony; his books in fact never fail at stealing the reader a smile.
And in this game of delicate balances carried on with elegance and intelligence, his characters come to life.
Bravo always propose us a mix of ingredients giving kid-oriented comics a breath of fresh air: comics are not only a distraction, but they represent one of the most effective tools to grant the kid’s sensibility a rich and complete education and growth.
It’s Jean, Spirou, Fantasio and the seven squat bears who enliven the show Segreti e bugie: but which secrets do Jean and Michèle keep? And what about the big lies told by the adults? Through a visual path in which the author constantly tries to involve and surprise the reader, the viewer will be guided into Bravo’s emotive universe.
